Is ‘do-it-yourself mindset’ a top trend in the post-pandemic world?

Data shows that a self-sufficiency spirit has flourished while the pandemic was raging, a recent survey revealed that many people re-discovered their passion for do-it-yourself activities. Activities rooted in childhood hobbies and aspirations and re-ignited by the pandemic lockdowns, be it baking or knitting or kitchen gardening - a do-it-yourself attitude is permeating our societies.

According to a 2020 survey by Axiom Marketing, around 86% of home gardeners wish to continue with their home gardening well into 2021 and the future. Most of those surveyed vowed to not only continue gardening in 2021 but also indicated that they would do much more gardening than they did the previous year.
